I RECEIVED A PACKAGE TODAY. LET'S OPEN IT!

It's no secret that I am really big on sustainability. I was so excited when I came across this company called Ecoenclose, because they simply cover everything: mailers, bags, boxes, tape, labels, and more! Everything is recyclable, or compostable, or biodegradable.

I ordered a few samples -- they just arrived, and I can't wait to show them to you!

It has always bothered me when a beautiful, sustainable product is shipped in non-recyclable packaging that ends up in a landfill -- that's really only half the point!

I know how overwhelming it is to combine living a full, busy live with trying to digest all the information that is available with regards to sustainability and making the right choices for the health of our planet and ourselves.

But then again, if there is anything the year 2020 has shown us, it is that we have reached a critical point, and that nothing is as important than taking care of ourselves, those we love, and the world we live in.

Having said that, I am more and more convinced that creators of product, especially product that is sustainable, need to realize that the concept of zero waste has to extend to the packaging as well in order to be really effective. By choosing recyclable packaging materials we are in the perfect position to provide a solution rather than just talking about one!

Last but not least, I have to say I also really love the contrast of the simple brown boxes and mailers to my colorful silk dresses -- it takes down the fanciness factor of the dresses and hopefully will make everyone realize that they can - and should! - be worn and enjoyed and loved every day.

XO --
Dagmar
